The story I am looking for is about reincarnation. Brian and Justin died in a accident on New Year's Eve. Before they died, Brian promised Justin that he would find him in their next life. Apparently, the fic had about 8 parts (?) on Midnight Whispers and was never completed; no one in the comments came forward to share a copy of that story though… :(

Better luck in 2015, I hope!
