1. I have seen quite a few unfinished fics by Violette7 that I am very interested in reading. I was wondering if anyone has been in contact with her lately to know if she is still working on and planning to finish most of her stories? Does she have a habit of ending chapters with nail biting cliffhangers or are they pretty much mostly readable ( Read more... )

Thank you very much for the link. Hopefully someone that is up to date on most of her stories can let me know if I should read what is there or should wait until RL eventually allows her to update again because of cliffhangers. Her stories look great so thank you for the link informing me that as of 2012 she still fully planned to finish her stories!

Maybe you should try to contact her (violette7) and see if she responds. I known of several people getting caught up in real life and eventually wondering if anyone even noticed they were gone so sometimes someone asking how they are is just what they need. *shrugs*

In either case, it's been a while since I've read her stories but I remember enjoying them they were pretty interesting ideas even if I know there's so many that are left unfinished. Since it's been so long I can't remember if they left off at a decent place nor not so I'm not help there.

I haven't heard from her in a long time. I have read all her fics and have been waiting for her to update the WIP. It has been a long time since she updated. I sent her a birthday message recently and I don't believe she has been back on for some time. I hate reading WIP to find out that they will never be finished. I am more careful now and will not read a WIP if it hasn't been updated within a year. Sorry no help.

I hope you feel you got some kind of answer. I wanted to help re: violette7's fics, but it's been too long since I read them to remember specifics and there are too many to go through and figure it out. I know she would sometimes reach what kind of felt like a possible ending, but then get a new idea and take off in a slightly new direction. So, maybe read, and if you hit what feels like a decent stopping place, stop there?

Alrighty that sounds like a good idea! Thanks so much for the advice! I have pllennttyyy of fics to read.. (I just watched QaF last year.. so I'm catching up on around 10 years worth of stories..) so I guess I'll just put off reading them as long as I can and by then maybe she'll have updated, who knows?
