We actually have a pray away the gay/conversion therapy tag :) I'm fairly sure it's in there because I remember reading that (horrifying!) scene you described.

Geesh... I was scanning the tags for "gay conversion," and I guessed I skipped right past the one with the opening "pray."

OK, thanks... I'll check it out. I've just finished reading "Commitment," by Rusty, and that's definitely not the one I was thinking of.
