(Confession alert!) I'm having trouble finding the "right" post-series fic. I've started several that seemed quite promising at first but then later went off the reservation character-wise. I really like Severina's "Gold and Silver Shines." I'm not sure it's angsty enough to meet your requirements, but BJ are in character, it's very long, very well written, and truly enjoyable.

I didn't see you say you've read Myrna's longer series, "If You Needed Me" and "Growing Up Kinney." In my opinion, Myrna's stories are the pinnacle of QAF fanfic, angsty, moving, funny and just amazing.

I'm not sure if it's quite as crazy angsty as you're looking for, but since I was going to rec it to you anyway (part of my top ten), I have to shout-out Choices by england13. Probably my favorite, most believable alternate S5/could-have-been S6 :)
