Okay, so my lap top blew up and died and I had to get another one. Now I've lost all my bookmarks, and the stories I'd downloaded won't open and I'm about to go and throw myself off the nearest bridge. What browser are you using? Both firefox and chrome have a plugin/extension called xmarks bookmark synchronizer that will keep save your bookmarks for you. if when and if you ever have to replace a pc or laptop again just log in and xmarks will restore them all for you.

I am sorry I can't help you with this story though. I don't remember reading it either. I hope someone finds it.

I have both firefox and chrome, so thanks for the tip! I used Internet Explorer to download on my old lap top, but there seems to be problem with loading it on this one. All I get is a white screen, and the same thing happens when I try to open the links I have saved on my Document file. Since I'm a total idiot when it comes to anything technical, I don't have a clue how to fix it.

I'm sorry you lost your fics! Unfortunately, it's happened to most of us at least once, so you have lots of company. Idid want to tell you that I'm retreading The Great Divide and enjoying it all over again. Hope you find your favorites again. The 4shared files are a great place to start.
