Hi, this fic has been bugging me for a couple of days now. In it Justin from season 4 or 5 travels back in time to season 1. I remember him thinking that he prefered season 4/5 Brian who was more loving. I don't think I finished reading it, or it may be a WIP because that us all that I remember.

Yeah, I checked that tag, google, and whichever archives I can remember. Part of my problem is that I have been out of the fandom for a year or two so I can't remember much :)

You should check out "A Stitch in Time" at MW its by Gina Marie (Petulant2U). It's the 3rd in a long series that starts with "Before There Was You, There was You" followed by "Return to Me". The "time travel" is in the 3rd story. The series is a great read!

There is Intrepid Traveler by Irina. Justin goes back in time before Brian is jaded or something. I haven't actually read more than a few pages. You have to look in Aly's GIH 4-Shared Mirror for Irina's Brian and Justin's stories. It sounds like what you are looking for.
