There's this sakesushimaki guy from Australia, who I hear writes okay fanfics? I guess? :P

How To Hitch A Breeder by sakesushimaki is amazing, totally IC and hot and angsty.

And one of my fabourite fics ever, whose author sadly has left fandom, I think: Truth In Advertising. It is hilarious and exciting, IC and just awesome. IT is from 2009, so that's newer than older, I think?

And something a bit shorter, but still at least a solid hour of reading (if you read fast): The Break-up by moonbrightnites

Fairly new to this fandom and writing with a quite interesting style is sungaizing85. Several WIPs, that are updated regularly.

You should also check out methylethyl stories, the 'You And Me' series by soulmatejunkee, the 'Cocktales' by techgirl_on_ij and adoringaudience as well as conzieu.

I'm working on Turbulence - new chapters will not be posted until it's done.

ETA: "active or otherwise" - Turbulence is "otherwise"
