It's winter and they live at the house. Justin calls to say he's leaving Pittsburgh and will be home shortly. There may have been some discussion about the weather. Exactly! I pictured one of Ree's doodle Justin's getting pulled out of a snowdrift by doodle Brian smoking his cig.

I am overtired by Holiday excess, methinks!

Ree's doodles are brill any way you look at them, but the ever-present cigarette is probably my favorite thing about them.
