Oh, I know that one. It's "Visual Aids" by ladybugkay. It's in the tags, but under bashing/post-bashing and ptsd.

Thank you court. I knew itnstarted with a V, I just couldn't remember anything else. I swear my mind is going some times. Now I have to check my misc. QAF fic file to see if I can find it in there so I can add it to my Nook.
