Devil's Playground AKA Amish!Justin

Is this story crack!fic?
(No disrespect to the writer is intended -- it was rec'd to me as a straight-up AU but I found a comment elsewhere describing it as intentional crack.)

crackilicious, author: gina aka toploft69, amish!justin

Didn't say you did. *grins* It's just that normally I'm not into crackfic, so i don't remember if this is one or not, 'coz i liked it, lol.

Gotcha! Well, I started reading thinking was an AU along the lines of the Abernathy Triology... and clearly needed to re-adjust my head space in order to properly appreciate it.

It's one of those stories that sits on both sides of the fence. It's fairly good, but the whole idea of Amish!Justin is cracktastic.

I love crack!fic and Bad!fic so it's all good.

Thank you. I briefly stopped reading I realized that the writer didn't research Rumspringa but eh, clearly that's not at all the point. :)

OMG Rumsprina is the BEST. Watching all those amish kids put CD players in their buggies and totally dressing crazy ( for Amish people ). It's one of the coolest things to be around!

Oh, I'm sure! :)
Now excuse me, I have to go read about Justin finding some jeans that show off his ass and learning what a zipper is.

Both crack!fic and bad!fic. All in all, absolutely hysterical. Another fandom classic.

Elements of the ridiculous (ahh, Justin churning butter) yet still a genuinely enjoyable love story :) Love it, lol.

I really am enjoying it. I wasn't sure what to read after that wonderful RPS of yours (I was *so* sad to reach the end of that!) but this is working nicely. :)

Aw, you're too sweet! :) I'm thinking I might reread it myself (Devil's Playground, not my fic, lol).

This is a fandom classic. It's "crackfic" in the purest form of the term. Crack as in falling down hysterical, crack as in "WTAF IS THIS!?!", crack as in "good lord, the typos", crack as in addictive as all get out.

I shied away for the longest time, but was talked into reading it. By the time I got to the butter-churn masturbation scene, I was HOOKED. I love this fic. It's obscene how much I love it. I'd rec it to anybody, just cause.

I knew it was a fandom classic when I started reading but I didn't realize *why* it was, you know? And then the typos and syntax issues and the, well, lack of research into Amish culture... I had no idea what I was reading. But I could.not.stop.

And I woke up this morning looking forward to reading more! Amish!Justin get his first taste of Liberty Ave. cock, here I come!

Speaking of 'butter churns', I have such a sick addiction to this fic that I made myself a word doc with chapter dividers made out of.......wait for it...... butter churns.

Um, yeah, I know, sometimes I worry about myself but then I think WTF and go read some more fic.

Thanks to this fic, the words "butter churn" will now always make me laugh!
