Okay guys, thank you so much for the lovely warm welcome, now I kind of need help again. I wrote my very fist QAF drabble type thing last night and I'm wondering what the best comms I can post it to and join etc. Thanks loves!
EDIT: lots found in comments. Thank you so much to everyone.
yay thank you! I've followed a couple of random ones satudsay but I have no idea if they are still updated by people and so on, it was just kind of a quick join/watch thing I did. These are great thanks!
Midnight Whispers - set up by a woman who goes by the name of Moonshadow Woman, is absolutely wonderful and helpful. They were very patient and kind when I first posted. By the way, Moonshadow Woman also has another site by the same name as her addy, though I've never posted there, I have enjoyed many fics there.
AND, MsdwW is an wonderful writer, she's one of the writers that I call the 'classics, iconic writers.' Great stuff, must reads.
BJFIC - another top notch site, many people read and post here.
Fanfiction.net - a huge database site, with many readers and posters.
Those three, MWhispers, BJFIC, and Fanfiction are the sites where I've posted, but I highly recommend them all.
I'm sure you're get other recommendations for these and other sites.
Here are a few drabble communities at which you can post. Maybe not what you have written, as these all follow specific prompts. But keep them in mind for the future.
drabylon: a new QaF prompt is posted every Wednesday
drabblechalleng: A multi-fandom site, they post new photo prompts on the first of each month
Keep in mind these are true drabble communities. Drabbles are 100 words, no more-no less. This is strictly enforced at Drabylon, and I assume at the other sites, also.
It's enforced at IJ's QAF Drabbles, too. I remember arguing with someone about that, once. That old argument about how the term "drabble" is fluid anymore. Nope. Still means 100 words. :) It's like cheating with Twitlonger on Twitter.
deary me, 100 words? I can't write that...I guess mine is a drabble times five then haha, its almost 500 words, ooopps, can't they just be called a long drabble and 100 word drabble or 200 word drabble etc? *shakes head!*
A true drabble is only 100 words. Some communities allow drabbles in 100 word increments (100, 200, 300, etc.) up to 1,000. I think that's sort of cheating, personally.
If you are simply writing short fics, under 1,000 words I think is the standard, most folks call those ficlets. I could be wrong, but I think that term is accepted by nearly all.

And on Insane Journal, they have qaf_drabbles (http://asylums.insanejournal.com/qaf_drabbles/): I believe they post a new prompt on Fridays.
