Know what I haven't done here in a while? Posted anything of much consequence.
SO! What I've been doing lately... Well, a while ago, I got picked up as Oancitizen's title card artist on TGWTG.com. After discovering that he'd just moved FOUR BLOCKS FROM WHERE I LIVE, it's gotten a bit more complicated than that.
So... as much for my own reference as anyone else's interest, here's a list of what I've done that isn't art or even credited:
Brows Held High:
The Doom Generation - co-writer, a number of the jokes in this review are mine and came from watching the film with Kyle and riffing it with him.
You & Me & Everyone We Know - Editor... there may be one or two minor jokes in there that were originally mine but I'll be damned if I can remember what they are, if they exist. Mostly I just edited the script for this one. I FUCKING HATE THIS MOVIE.
The Man Who Fell To Earth COMMENTARY! ...this is pretty self explanatory in that if you click on it, you hear me talking. Ironically, I hadn't seen the movie when we recorded this, I saw it the day AFTER. Not that seeing it would have helped much. This movie is SO fucking confusing.
Tideland - Co-writer, script editor, research assistant, and donator of every prop in the episode including the opening book... and some props that don't even appear in the end result but existed up to the point of rehearsing with them. I had a lot to do with this review because I actually LOVE this movie and know way too much about Alice in Wonderland.
A Serbian Film - Script editor, director, cameraman, and general assistant during filming... this was a hell of a lot of fun to do and I'm still impressed we managed not to get blood everywhere when we did this.
A Serbian Film Commentary & Bloopers - Proof of the above? XD
Clutter and Void - Interviewer, key grip, camera assistant.
Andy Warhol's Flesh for Frankenstein - Script editor, minimal cowriter (again, just a couple of jokes), and... let's put the rest down as "key grip." The shoot was so simple, even though I did stand behind the camera, I really didn't have to DO pretty much anything.
VLOG: Anonymous is a Pile of Crap - ...I'm on screen. Whee! :P There was no script for this but you could call me key researcher I guess? We sat in the back of a mostly-empty theater and I looked stuff up on my Droid throughout the movie to verify just how WRONG everything about this movie was.
Slacker - Co-writer (I technically "wrote" more than Kyle did for this one), camera, damn fool who got up hours before we started filming and picked up coffee and got down to business... XD
Goodbye 20th Century - Camera
Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai - Camera. Also the rap video was recorded around the outside of my parents' house.
Miscellaneous: (Crossovers and non-BHH stuff)
Crossover: Revolutionary Girl Utena - "Co-writer" isn't really the right word for this but I guess maybe "researcher" is a good term? I watched it with Kyle in preparation for the review, but I don't really know how much, if any, of what ended up in the final script really had much to do with my input for his part.
Nostalgia Chick: City of Angels - Let me put it straight here... the majority of everything in that review that had to do with Wings of Desire was information that came from me. This is applicable to all parties. Lindsay got the "heaviness of being German" bits but nearly everything else about that movie is paraphrased information that came from me. Lindsay, Kyle, and Todd could not figure that movie out. There was a Skype conversation in which Kyle explained it to Lindsay by repeating stuff I told him while sitting next to him. His cameo is him paraphrasing stuff I told him. This is uncredited and, as far as I know, Lindsay doesn't even know about this, but I think I contributed enough to claim co-writer credit for this one, at least in the sense of being the only person who understands that fucking movie. XD
The Bunny Perspective - Let's Play - The Room - all female voices in the following videos:
Part 1Part 2Part 3Part 4Part 5Part 6Part 7Part 8Part 9BEST OF HIGHLIGHTS Nostalgia Critic: Moulin Rouge - camera (for Kyle's cameo). Also that shoe he's beating the shit out of in one clip is mine. XD SHOE CAMEO.
The Machinimist: Retrograde - CAMEO! Also I'm doing Smarty's title cards too now. :)
PREtension - 2nd Camera, Additional Artwork, Props (this was actually a hell of a lot of work), "Moral Support" (read: I was the idiot who ferried all the equipment around in my truck for multiple filming sessions and volunteered my basement as a set and my sister as a costar ["The Star"])
The Adventure of the Unexpected Cosplay - Bastards got me on camera. Also, my sister made the costumes.
Suburban Knights: The Absentee Commentary (Link goes to part 1 of 7) - Additional recording... I was present for the entire thing in order to make a backup audio recording of the call, since Kyle had never recorded a Skype call before. I'm not in the actual commentary. They got me to unmute my mic and chat between segments but none of the between-segment outtakes are online anywhere so "the silent cameo" is where I'm staying. ^_^
Diamanda Hagan: Eat the Schoolgirl - My sister put together Kyle's schoolgirl costume, I dressed him in it, and was present for about half of the filming as a line-prompter and (ineffectual) hallway guard. XD
Paw: Let's Play LIVE: Space Quest - Various voices (because Kyle and I got to Paw's place about an hour before we were scheduled to meet up and hang out... DC traffic is unpredictable that way.)
Atop the Fourth Wall: Mr T. #2 - "Previously on Atop the Fourth Wall" segment cameo (filmed and directed by Kyle)
