Hi, this is going to seem quite odd, but here we go...
Firstly, I cannot describe how relieved I am to see your journal's still active. My worst nightmare was finding an abandoned journal.
I'm sure you remember posting photographs of the possessions of the late Charles Rufus Walters, back in 2008? Well, the images really stuck, and I ended up writing a scene that involved a similar discovery. The short story has since been twice published, and I'm working on expanding it into a novel.
Right now, I'm feeling quite stuck and wanted to return to all my original inspiration... but your photos are no longer online. I don't suppose there's any chance you still have them, and would be willing to send them to me? I'd appreciate it so much.
In return, I'd happily link you to the original story!
Thanks for hearing me out either way - and excellent crafty man, by the way. Alice x
I do indeed still have them! And that's awesome that they inspired you so much.
Would you like me to E-Mail them to you? I'm not sure how to undo Photobucket's fuckery to make them visible again. I could also (and probably WILL) re-upload them to tinypic but that might take me a while.
Oh, bloody brilliant, thank you so much! As promised, here's a copy of Playing Dylan for the Dead for you to peruse. I won't be offended if you don't get around to reading it, of course. Much love! xx
