Some kid in Colorado crawled inside his family's home-made helium weather-balloon type thing, and then it got loose and flew away while he was hiding in the attic, and everyone thought he was inside.

Even though... no WAY it could've lifted him, much less floated off with him inside.

I'm not entirely sure the balloon would have been able to float away period if the kid had crawled into it... helium is a gas, and will escape through whatever hole the kid would have used to get in. I suspect the kid was never actually in the balloon to begin with.

No, there was a control compartment attached to the bottom - I know the kind of balloon they're talking about. Plus they actually have some video of him climbing in and out earlier in the day - so it COULD be done.

Seriously, the only news I ever watch is Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, because half the time, they're mocking the news organizations themselves, and they're both fucking hilarious.

The "news" is not reliable, factual, or honest. I don't bother with it anymore.
