2nd contract

I don't understand this game. For humans to act like wolves and rabbits... But rabbits have no power! It's very unfair. Aren't games about everyone having an equal chance to win?

I can give you that chance, if you want it.

event: rabbit doubt, wolf in rabbit's clothing, your soul is in my hands, will you make a contract?

Well, I can grant any wish that your soul contains the power to grant! How much of yourself are you willing to give?

Ah, now that sounds like a catch... and a trade rather than a wish.

With this power I can do things that no human would ever be able to achieve.

Such as...?

I could cure any sickness or heal any wound. I could make you rich. I could give you the love of any person you desire.

These are things that people often wish for.

Yes, I suppose they would.

[ He looks like he is about to yawn. Clearly Buckingham is already filthy rich, which, in a sufficiently satisfactory way, also takes care of the love angle.

Sickness? Wounds? He is perfectly fine. And not particularly impressed. ]

Is that all?

[ Wantless? Wishless? Him? Not exactly, though no particular desire springs to m-- my, my, now wait just a minute. ]

...To return home and conquer France.

[ His answer has a 'BRING IT!' ring to it, it's obvious he doesn't think that would be a possibility. ]

Hmm...

For some reason, I cannot free anyone from this place. However, if you were back on Earth, that wish would not be impossible.

[ A scornful laugh. ]

What good is a wish if it doesn't exceed my own reach? If I was back I could see to my own victory.

There are always humans who do not want to wish.
