So, I am using todays entry to complete my first challenge from theemdash.
The challenge:
Write a post defining "defenestration," including the etymology of the word. Then write about one historical defenestration. This can be written as a bitterly dry retelling of the event or as historical fiction (though I would recommend fiction).

I almost did a fiction thing anyway, because I thought it might give me more bonus points... but then I was like, ughhhhh, lazyyyyy

I do give you the power to veto this challenge because I know you're going to Vegas with your parents. If you think you can't pull this off, I'll give you a different Vegas challenge. (But I'm going to be sad because this makes me laugh so much.)

Challenge: Vegas Challenge

CHALLENGE: While in Las Vegas, collect as many call girl flyers as you can. Now you have a choice: (A) Use them to make a Whore Door by somehow affixing them to a doorway in your home or (B) Use them to spell out the word "Companion." Take a picture of either creation and post it in your journal.

DUE: January 31, 1400 EST.
