Irony, didn't anyone ever tell you that the smoke needs to stay inside electronics. I've lost a few gadgets that way myself.

My modem isn't smoking but some times I have to turn it off and unplug it 4 or 5 a day to reset it. Then reset the wireless connection on my computer.
