I understand, really I do.

It's 12 months since my father passed and my grief washes over me like a set of waves and then the ocean calms itself again.

Wow, just thinking about you, open my journal, and there you are! Woo hoo :) Glad you're feeling more up, (somehow missed a porny post, hmmm....) Have a wonderful time at Wincon - wish I could be there, sigh! Currently spending another week down with my mum, especially as my older sister just got the news she has bone cancer. Damn. What is in the water?

Gotta ask, what colour hair this year?

omg fireflies! I remember the first time I saw them for real, I was ... over 25? I didn't want to leave.

I am 41 and have never seen a firefly. *is not quite whining* It was very cool that she called and shared with me.

That's a worthy life goal, seriously. Put it on the list of things To Do. Like magic, they are. Little glowing bits of magic (I already had a Disneyland Pirates of the Caribbean image of them, and they were even better.)
