Can't sleep because a)I have to get up promptly tomorrow to visit my parents and b) I had quite a bit of red wine earlier this evening. So time to blog about the time spent so far en vacances.

I have dim recollections of the BBC production of The Man of Destiny in 1980 or 1981, part of which I watched even though I couldn't follow it at all as it's not a 'history play' in Shakespearean style, which I could. I learn from IMDb that Napoleon was played by Simon Callow, probably the first time I saw him on television.
