he is very subtle in his teachings about what is right watching and when watching is a waste of energy.....it's the core of his teaching.....when the "I", the observer watches it is a waste of energy, cause the "I" watches according to it's acquired expriences and according to what it has been conditioned through education and tradition and any kind of propaganda....if the "I" watches it sees only his own creations..it's then like one wants to pull oneself at his own hair out of the marsh....the "I" is not useful to find out something true about oneself, cause the "I" wants always to achieve something, the "I" always observes with a plan, for example to get rid of depression or another unpleasant feeling, and cause the plan doesn't fit right there comes frustration sooner or later ( ... )

oh yes my friend... dear gerry, i do hear his message, and cherish it...for this "i" knows when to surrender to truth. at the same time, this imaginary "i" is a friend... and a great joy at times to be present with.

life is good... and i just wanted to check in with you and say thanks so much.
