I've been trying to reserve judgment, but I'm not surprised.

I read two of them: The Magicians Nephew, and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

I actually kind of hated the books. It's one of those stories that just doesn't get subtle. Ever. They have some character say exactly what's going on at all times like some greek chorus.
