I would be getting it for a few reasons - the biggest is that I can use the editing software to make extra money on the side (there's a wedding video guy in Philly, one in Baltimore, and a few in NYC looking for Final Cut Editors for wedding videos and paying a few hundred per video...)

you should definitely get one...I know a lot of people who have one and say that they can never go back to microsoft...besides I plan on getting one in the spring when i have the money
