congrats!!
i've tried those antibiotics for 6months-1yr...and it did help me quite a bit..
but i felt it wasn't v gd for my liver..and in the long term not gd for the body and chose to live with the acne...
hahaha
but not sure abt this accutane

i've also tried the antibiotics, but doesn't really work for me as well. according to my doctor, accutane/nimegen's active ingredient is isotretinoin, and the main side effects are dry skin and cannot get pregnant (baby will be deformed or something).

i have to go on a 4month course, 2pills per day, and so far so good i feel. the effects of the medicine can last about 1 year to 1.5 years. after that have to start on it again. but i think it's worth it, considering nothing has worked for me so far and i don't plan to have children soon :)

think they have in topical gel format..
would that be better than to take oral medicine? hmm just thinking out aloud..

keep up the good work!! is gd to set short term goal! I gave myself half a year to gain mass years back. I was so underweight last time
