Thank you! I hadn't seen his letter before I saw this post. Wah, and I agree with you! It sounded way too much like a farewell-letter. Which, I understand it is a farewell to the show, but it certainly isn't (or shouldn't be) to the fandom!
I'm so touched that he thought to write us a letter like that. <3
