...usually you put the name of the person who's journal you read the meme in, which I'm guessing would be mine. But Kate is awesome so the more people know she has a journal the better. :)

I thought that was Jasper Fforde! And I haven't even read one of the books. No-one seems to have the first one in stock at the moment... I take it you would recommend them?

How about a swap for the first book of Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials? It's a first-edition hardcover... I have plenty of other good books too, many of which are exciting odd or unusual. Plus a book swap is a good excuse to catch up!
