The Church we have been going to usually does a Pastor appreciation every first Sunday of the month.  I think that is a really good idea. We had a huge potluck dinner. We normally have about 100 people attend church on Sunday, but for some reason every person who goes to our church invited their extended family so we had about 300 people yesterday

I don't know if there is a spirit of a bad dreams..but I do know that if you sleep with your bibles you won't have them..been there done that for years...

Also I believe that sometimes we bring something home that we shouldn't..it could be something as innocuous as a lamp or as bad as a book that maybe someone shouldn't read..

I am not sure why I believe the above I just do. But also with you wanting Gillian to get her life on course..not saying she isn't..but stronger in the Lord, things are going to happen also..

I agree I would pray over your house and also maybe annoint it with oil..sure would not hurt..

Thanks. I think it is because of the latter, trying to get all of our lives back on course. A friend of mine who is a spirit filled christian believes that their are bad spirits for everything, spirit of porn, spirit of sickeness, spirit of adultry etc. etc. I sleep with my bible on my bedside, but forgot to put it there when I got home from church Sunday. I thought it was weird that we all had bad dreams and that we remembered them. Usually we do not remember all of our dreams.

I do believe in anointed your home with oil and telling or commanding any spirits that are there to leave in the name of Jesus Christ, we use olive oil, and go over every entrance of our home even the garage. Also, I believe anyone can bring demons into your home, as they tend to cling to some people or things. Prayer, helps tremendously, I sit on my childrens beds when they are not home, and pray for them. It's always hard for me to remember that they were given to us, but they are actually God's, and we only have them for a short time.

Very true. We are their teachers so-to-speak. I do pray in my childrens rooms just like you. I go in when they are sleeping and lay my hands on their foreheads and pray over them. I watch them sleep. We do not get many guests in our home so I don't know if we get bad spirits like that? I think that the biggest reason we had these bad dreams Sunday night was because I was pushing Gillian into going to Bible study in the morning. She did bring home a book from school she has been reading called "Dragon". It is suppose to be about mid-evil times with Dragon stuff etc. I need to ask her more about the book. The only other thing that comes into our home is groceries and homework. That is it? They could be attaching themselves to us during my outing. I have noticed since I have been talking to Shanon more, that we have had constant termoil in our home. She is a very confused individiual who swears and gripes etc. The one with Bi-polar. I wonder if she could have the bad spirits following her? We have lunch a few times a
