Part Three of the Costa Rica Retirement series, well, pseudo-retirement. You can take the man out of UNCLE, but you can't make him stop doing what needs done for the innocents in the world, right ( Read more... )

Certainly, this story had to catch my eye from the title. Good to see it posted already. I just love how you picked up my country for our dynamic duo's adventure. I'm flattered that Illya decided to get a getaway place here. :)

I can't thank you enough for your help in this series. *flails accordingly* It is difficult to write about a place I have never been (but OH SO BADLY WANT TO GO TO) and that you approve makes me gleeful. Eventually we will find out why they left and why they settled where they did and why they aren't really retired and lots of other unexplained things. I hope that I can continue to entertain with this series and do justice to a country that is so beautiful and appealing. Thank you for reading and for commenting and for answering my silly questions when I have them.

Meanwhile back in Costa Rica :D You sure know how to grab a gal's attention. I'd completely forgotten about this series, but when I saw the title BOOM! it all came back to me. I'm glad you have more in store for us. (Them?) Oh, you know what I mean!

Now that they are established there, I can start playing around with what they get up to, backstory (and there is a lot of it), why they left, all that kind of thing, it should be fun. Thank you for reading!

The newsletter mentioned this, so I turned up. It wasn't until I started reading that I remembered the earlier parts. If the series is going to develop slowly please keep the parts self contained like this one, I hate WIPs that peter out. But if I'm going to get all the bits you mentioned in your previous comment then I'm looking forward to seeing where the story goes.

I am trying very hard to keep all of the parts of this series as separate and distinct as possible. While the first three parts do run one after another and build into a larger whole, I am striving for disparate stories that all take place in the same location/universe but don't have to be read in any particular order. Of course, what I am striving for and what I get to: entirely different things pretty often. I do know the answers to all the questions (why Illya left, why Napoleon left, why Waverly set this up, if Waverly set this meeting up, etc.) Although, they really did meet accidentally after the storm, that was actual coincidence. ( as much as anything is coincidence in their world, ha)

I'm not sure anyone cares about those questions but me. That's ok too.

I love everything about your stories except that they make me want more. Now. Please. What can I say -- I'm greedy. ;-)

*laughing in delight*

I am having a rather difficult weekend and really needed a smile, you provided much more than that, thank you!!! I am so sorry that I don't write very fast, but I will do my very best to make more stories happen, I will.

Thank you for reading and for commenting and for making my day brighter. *hug*
