I am trying to get that first person thing down, I kind of really suck at it. I show the majority of my characterization in gesture and dialogue and observed actions so writing from inside a character's head makes it hard to show that characterization, and then I am often disguising who I am writing as as well, because I am weird that way. So thank you for enjoying this one, I wasn't sure it turned out right.

What were you saying about missing the mark? You mostly certainly didn't with this piece! It's lovely, full of longing and near regret. You handled the first PoV wonderfully.
