Today I got a visit from the Booze Buddy, the muscular more straight cousin of the Alcohol Fairy, with apologies that it wasn't a crystal head of vodka. Dood, this stuff looks so good that it doesn't NEED to be vodka

Oooo.... That syrah sounds yummy! I'll have to go get a bottle from my Friendly Neighborhood Alcohol Seller.

I tried a bottle of Vampire cabernet sauvignon years ago... back when it still came from Transylvania itself. (Wonder when the Vineyard relocated to California....) To be honest, I got it because the idea was so cool. *g* I don't remember what it tasted like, but I don't remember it being bad or anything....

One of my co-workers at the bookstore said she likes the Merlot/Cab that they make and that the vineyard came to Cali a few years back. I have never heard of this place on either continent but yeah, that sounds like a great wine. I will post a review when I crack it open. ;)

Hey, before you leave for Nawlins, would you ask Booze Buddy where he found the Syrah? I checked my own Friendly Neighborhood Alcohol Sellers, and while they had all the Vampire wines, they didn't have the Dracula sub-brands. And dammit, I want to try that Syrah, now! *g*
