He’s good with kids, I have to give him that. He can get any kid to smile any time with that goofy smile or the way he talks. The way he can get any kid to smile at him when they get a shot, get an MIR, or get very bad news. He can always find a way to get them to smile.
Like right now, some kid has cancer, won’t make it six months and O’Malley has him laughing and playing airplane in the sunshine. Maybe it’s because he’s such a kid himself they think he’s one of them. And maybe that’s why I love him.
