Summary: George ran away and got married and Alex is pissed.
He stood there, in the dark confides of the hotel bathroom, “This will never work,” he whispered backing up against the counter, his hand falling upon his wife’s hair dryer and whatever other items she had left laying on the counter.
“She’ll never know.”
“She knows everything.”
“She’s at a medical conference.”
“She has ears everywhere and after my Dad died, I told you…..that was the last time!”
“And I’m saying I don’t want it to be the last time! God damn it George, listen to yourself!”
“I am listening to myself, are you listening to me Alex?” he questioned arching an eye brow at the bigger man who had him almost sitting on the edge of the counter. He had never told Callie, never told anyone, neither had Alex.
It worked that way though. Going to Alex’s after being at Joe’s, sneaking Alex out of his bedroom before the girls woke up. Sneaking around behind Callie’s back at work. It had all been a game, until George had ran off and gotten married. Now, now it wasn’t a game.
“You ran away, you got married. You didn’t tell me,” Alex said grabbing the front of George’s shirt. “You now want to be this man of his vows, of his promises. What about the promises you made me George, huh? What about those promises? Where did those promises go? Does she know how to touch you, to make you moan, does she know?”
“Alex, stop this nonsense.”
“What you did was nonsense! This, the way you taught me to feel, is nonsense,” Alex hissed shoving him roughly into the counter.
“Alex….”
“One night George, one last memory, one last chance to hold you. Hold your tongue tonight and let me love you tonight,” Alex whispered before capturing George’s lips in a sweet kiss, his fingers moving to George’s left hand, ring finger and slowly slipping the ring off, laying it on the counter before pushing the man he had one more night with, one more night to feel, into the bedroom.
