“To Meredith, McDreamy is just…” Izzie sighed, and swiped a hand through tangled hair. “Haven’t you ever been in love, Alex? Head over heels, roses and sleepless nights love?”
Alex’s eyes were drawn automatically to the end of the corridor, eyes catching on George. The smaller intern was talking animatedly to Olivia, but as if he sensed Alex’s gaze, he turned and looked back at him, blushing slightly before he remembered to glare.
Alex turned back to Izzie. “No,” He snapped at her brusquely, and spun and walked away, already thinking about the roses he’d have to buy that night.
