My first try on an Alex/George ship, and the first slash story I ever finished... also my first ever entry at lj... alot of first ones, really!
Unbetad, so probably a guaranteed heartattack for any teacher of English...
I just read the 'sentence-fics' and liked them really well, so I figured I'd try something similar, hope that’s alright! Never done this before, plus totally new to lj (hope i did everything right, it's so confusing), so be gentle! *puppydogeyes*
George’s Relationship Alphabet
Asshole
George always thought of Alex as an asshole, and in fact called him so numerous times, only that now have this thing going and sometimes he can’t refrain from calling him sexy as well.
Ballgames
George really doesn’t see the point in watching ballgames. Still he likes watching Alex watch ballgames and if he ends up falling asleep on Alex’s lap that isn’t too bad either.
Cute
George hates being called cute. He always has. Only that one time when Alex looked at him, really looked at him, and said something that sounded suspiciously like "Hey you look good in blue." turned his life upside down.
Dork
Alex keeps calling him a dork, but sometimes he sounds almost affectionate while doing so.
Eager
No matter what Alex says, he was not eager for it! Not much anyway.
Fire
Alex reminds George of fire; wild, unpredictable and hot. And sometimes George is afraid he might get burned.
Gorgeous
The problem is not that George thinks Alex is gorgeous. The problem is that Alex knows.
Insults
They keep trading insults, but somehow no one falls for that anymore.
Hard on
"Alex I can't believe you want to... now!"
Jesus
"Jesus" is the only word that escapes George’s trembling lips the first time they have sex in the on call rooms.
Killing
"I’m going to fucking kill that bastard", George mutters, while the girls giggle hysterically. He spends the rest of the day trying to get Alex’s signature off of his forehead.
Love
He really lo...ikes Alex and that scares the hell outa him.
Meredith
Somehow, he doesn’t know when or why, Meredith became just Meredith to him.
Nurses
Ever since Alex happened to him George has developed a strong dislike towards nurses. When did they all start to be blonde bombshells throwing themselves at Alex, anyway?
Outing
When coming out to the girls George is so nervous, that he works himself straight into a nervous frenzy and ends up stuttering and babbling nonsense. But Alex simply walks over to him and seals his lips with a kiss that is so intense that it sends George from hysterics right into paralysis! Afterwards Alex cocks an eyebrow at the girls. "What are you looking at, huh?"
Party
After getting over the initial shock the girls start planning a Coming Out party for George. Sometimes he really believes they were sent by an evil spirit, seeking revenge on him. But although he wonders what he could have possibly done in any of his former lives to deserve this kind of punishment, he lets them go ahead with it anyway. And early in the morning, his head on Alex’s shoulder, leaning into Alex’s warm embrace and slow dancing to Seal’s kissed by a rose, George begins to think it wasn’t such a bad idea after all. He is still trying to forget that the girls dragged him into the kitchen, filled him up and got him to spill everything, even the things he hasn’t even admitted to himself yet, however.
Questioning
George has been wondering for a while now and when he finally works up the courage to pop the question at Alex, Alex just says: "Sure man, whatever." He guesses that means they are officially a couple now.
Restroom
"I really don’t think we… uh… should… Oh!" George finds himself gripping the edge of the sink. Alex was right after all, it is thrilling to watch themselves in the mirror. Only that he thinks he heard the door open at least once, and Dr. Shepard is acting really strange around them lately.
Simple
George’s mother tells him that, as long as he is happy, he shouldn’t give a damn what other people think. And sometimes it is just as simple as that.
Talking
George needs to talk everything out and Alex prefers to let his actions speak for words. So George talks and Alex acts and somehow that works out just fine for them.
Unheard
George is used to not being noticed, but when Alex is around nothing he says is ever left unheard. That he might never get used to.
Vacation
George has never really been anywhere, so when Alex takes him to Florida it means the world to him.
Worst
Even on the worst days Alex can still make him smile, which is all it needs to keep George going on.
X-rated
When catching Alex leer at George Bailey makes them do all the dirty work for the rest of the day to cleanse their thoughts because, as she says, she knows they should be x-rated. Still George can’t help smiling, it feels good to know that their colleagues accept them.
Yelling
It doesn’t happen very often, but sometimes they do get into an argument and Alex yells at him and that hurts worse than anything George has ever experienced before. Fortunately they always make up and make up sex belongs to the best things George ever experienced.
Zoo
George likes going to the zoo and as much as Alex complains, George knows he doesn’t mind too much either. After all it is at the zoo that Alex tells him he loves him for the first time. George never thought he could ever be that happy.
