I had a phone call with Christin Tello from Tello Films this afternoon (you may know them from Nikki & Nora's resurrection). She's going to send me their typical licensing agreement, and then I'm going to have to learn how to write a screenplay! So they can produce the series! It's going to be five to seven episodes filmed in Chicago either next

Absolutely! Plus Riley is set in the midwest (which isn't revealed until the last scene of the last story ;D) and the city has an El train. So there's that. ;D

And yes! Not only that... I always cat my novels, but my new, realistic-dream actress for Riley is Tracy Ryerson, who actually stars in another series for Tello. So you know they know her. ;D

It is! My poor mother. ;D "I'm writing a book based on a TV series, and they're making a series based on one of my books." And it's all happening at the same time BECAUSE OF COURSE IT IS. ;)
