Oh, I like this! Yes, for all the obvious reasons, but also especially for the Jack/Sara/Kawalsky threesome in the flashback. That makes so much sense, particularly as an alternative to talking, because I think you're really onto something with Jack thinking that talking would only trap him there, in the misery. This is head canon for me from now on.

Oh! I'm honored to create head canon! ~bows~ The idea of having Jack in two separate polyamorous relationships... yeah. It rang true. And I can see Jack just wanting to hold on until he gets back on his feet rather than talking it to death. That's what the fishing is about. :)

The only problem with writing a Jack/Sara/Kawalsky threesome in the past is that Kawalsky and Jack's son are both named Charlie. There could be some unfortunate misunderstandings in the reading of that story ;D
