This may be the end. I was waiting, waiting, waiting to see if this was a season or series finale, because I thought that would affect my review of it. Not of the episode itself, but when you're talking about an episode... you kind of want to know whether there's more to come. But I worked around it. I sincerely hope that they do get a Season 5. I DO NOT want this show to end.

I could go either way! I mean, I would be happy OF COURSE if they went on. But with the changes they made in the finale, I think it would be odd. It's a good stopping point if they did decide to end it there.

And everything I've seen points to it being done. Ryan Robbins is a regular on Falling Skies now, and Amanda is doing movies and stepping into the director's chair... the thing that tipped me to the "most likely not coming back" is the Season 4 DVD being given a release date. Usually they like to schedule that around the start of the new season. Without a new season announcement... ~shrugs~

I really want another season, too, but one has to wonder if that is even possible since everyone has moved on. Martin Woods and Amanda Tapping working on Primeval: New World in Toronto. RyRo all over the place. LOL Agam Darshi working on several movies. Chris Heyerdahl in Hell on Wheels, more Twilight and other movies. No word on what Robin Dunne is doing.

Right! I forgot about Heyerdahl but, to be honest, Druitt's never been a real presence and they killed off his other character. So... man. I need to address that in the commentary. Biggie deserves a memorial.

But yeah, it's kind of a testament to Ryan Robbins' work ethic that "he's a regular on another show" doesn't definitively mean he'd be gone from Sanctuary. He might very well decide to do two shows! It's been done before in Canada! :D

Ryan Robbins works more than most actors with whom I am familiar. Have you seen that commecial for a Walgreens app that can be used for renewing your prescriptions even while mountain climbing? I recognized his voice while I was working on the computer and looked up and there he was!

As for Biggie being killed off - I was really depressed because it seemed like that was the final nail in the coffin. 8( Kate had be gone most of the 4th season as was Druitt. That left only Helen and Will.

I don't see much hope for a renewal and will really miss seeing Amanda Tapping in something every week since 1997. I really like Primeval but I'm pretty sure she will only be behind the camera on that one occasionally.
