Huzzah! I'm so glad you liked it! ~hugs~ I like the idea that RepliCarter was human, she was Sam, but what would make Sam turn evil like that? She was made wrong, and treated badly, and that all built up until she decided she'd had enough. It was a lot of fun to explore her looking at the things she'd lost.

Her new name. Um. I was going to leave that up to whatever the reader wanted, leave it unspoken. But since it was for you, um... Rosalind. After Rosalind Franklin, who made the discovery that led to Watson and Crick discovering DNA. I think she'd like to honor a woman who'd made such an advance (and yet never got credit).

I'm glad you liked it so much! I'm glad it was worthy of what you did to earn it! :D ~hugs~

Here via good old fashioned lurking thanks to sanctuary_news and nnnngggg. Feelings. Poor Replicarter, I just. Want to wrap her up in a hug and keep her safe forever. But then I don't because she'd probably shank me. sigh.

And Repliweir! Repliweir! Things like this make me strangely okay with the fact that she exists.

Poor RepliCarter. ~sniffles~ I really feel she was a tragic character. She started out as Sam. The only difference was her environment and how she was treated. No wonder Sam had a soft spot for the evil bitch! ;-)

RepliWeir MUST exist, for the universe cannot be unjust. :D Even with the way things ended, I feel that she survived and looks like Torri Higginson again. And she's off with RepliCarter making little robot babies on an abandoned planet. :D

Wouldn't be the first time! I was here back with your hilarious Power Behind the Throne review. ;)

She so was. I often find that's hard to remember when writing her from other people's points of view; it's hard to reconcile what they see with what we knowww she is, which is sad and lonely and just plain beat up.

SHE MUST. I haven't even watched Ghost in the Machine yet, but. I'm already not looking forward to... things.

Oops! I hope I didn't spoil anything! ~zips lips~ But anything that is not-looked-forward to, just understand it was Torri's decision. She was asked, but she refused. I don't really blame her, knowing what she was working with. :)

And the icky, hard to deal with part is that you KNOW she was raped. There is no way Fifth didn't do gross sexual stuff with her, and that just... ~shudders~ I'm glad he got obliterated (even though... you know... he was a victim, too. Man. No winners in the Replicator war :().

And aww, the Power Behind the Throne. God, I want to murder that book. If ever a book deserved a bonfire. ;-D You'll be happy to know that the new SGA book "Homecoming" is really good. :D

I kept trying to think of ways to get her to Earth, and Vala swinging by and dropping her off made so much sense! ;-D But yes, having Vala be the one who made RepliCarter more human seemed rather ironic to me. ;-D

Love It!! Aspects of Sam that RepliCarter would need to understand to become Sam, but not Sam. The Episodes where Amanda played Carter/RepliCarter are some of my favorite. Amanda is one of the few actresses that can play opposite herself and it is very believe able.

Thank you! And YES. It's amazing how it's so easy to tell from just one shot whether it's Sam or RepliCarter. It's why Helen/Sam works in my head so well. I have to SEE the characters to write them well, and that's not a problem with Helen and Sam. Amazing, amazing talent.

I almost said Amanda played well off herself, but it seemed to sound almost sexual..(not sure that Amanda would have a problem with that if it were possible. I am sure she has a secret or two).
