yesterday was a really bizarre day.

i won homecoming queen. don't ask me how that happened.

so weird.

now i have this huuuuuuuge trophy and six red roses. the roses are in a vase on the piano, but what the fuck am i going to do with this massive tacky trophy?

Barrington High School's class of 2007 was collectively on crack this morning.

What other explanation is there for me being nominated for homecoming court?

Hahaha, this is so weird...I actually have to go to the pep rally, football game, AND the homecoming dance now...

Mike Walker called me today while I was walking home from school. That was a pleasant surprise. I met up with him as he was getting off from work, and we just walked around and talked about things. It made my day just to spend time with a good friend I haven't really seen in a while.

Today I bought a large glass of pink lemonade from a little boy. He said "ten cents, please" and I said "here's a quarter, keep the change".  I stayed and talked to him for a little while while I drank because he needed to wash the cup and re-use it for other customers. Last night, walking home from Warren in the rain, I saw a bird perched on a rope that somebody was using to tie their boat to their dock in the river. It was windy, causing the rope to swing back and forth, and the bird had to keep shifting its position in order to stay balanced.
