so... if Suzaku and Guillford both survived situations in which they should have died... does this mean Lelouch might have survived too? >_>;;; *delusional*
I don't even follow this series (I just watch random episodes and read spoilers) and I'm all angsty over Lelouch's death *fail*
There is a lot of speculation that Lelouch survived. The very last scene of the show shows CC riding in a hay cart with a man driving the cart whose face isn't shown, and she says something about how having Geass means you live a life of solitude but that isn't always true, ne Lelouch?
So it is kind of hinted it, it just depends on how you interpret what CC said. He could just be living inside her memory, but a lot of people think he received Charles' code and became immortal like her. That doesn't explain how he was still able to use geass though. They lose the power of Geass when they receive a Code and Lelouch was using it very nearly to the end.
aaah, okay... I should just watch the episode and see for myself LOL but *scared* >_>;;;
I guess that's as ideal an ending as can be. Just from my observations from what I know of the series, it seemed inevitable that Lelouch would have to die at the end and that's a huge part of why I held off watching the series until the end XD b/c I didn't want to deal with the emotional investment I knew I'd put into Lelouch's character. *sigh*
Thank you for clarifying that for me! XD I'm going to have to tiptoe around this series for a while until I get up the courage to watch it in full =P
