Because I live where the steel mills used to be, there are two sets (Norfolk Southern and CSX) of railroad tracks I cross every day to get to work. They're busy tracks, with at least four trains a hour passing through, and sometimes trains every five or ten minutes. Wow. This is heartbreaking, indeed. I also think it would make a fantastic editorial. Would your local paper consider publishing this?

For the past 8 years and even more, our government has always felt that victory is acheived when people stop thinking.

Setting aside weightier issues for the moment, allow me to say,
