The WSAA is hosting a competition on the 28th and 29th of March. Unfortunately, due to this cruise, I cannot go. Of course I would easily withdraw from the cruise in favor of archery, but Hinata and Hanabi can by no means go unsupervised.

archery, the sacrifices neji makes, hyuugas

And leave you on a Spring Break cruise ship surrounded by drunk idiots? Hinata, it may look like fun and games, but this is a very serious situation and your safety cannot be left up to chance. What if your drink were spiked? Or you fell overboard?

B-But who would want to do that?!? A-And I won't fall overboard! I don't trip too much anymore.

These things happen. And you know perfectly well that if they did, you wouldn't be able to handle yourself.

I'm sure that Hinata and Hanabi can take care of themselves. No need to be so valiant.

Valiant? He enjoys being called valiant. gentle_strike March 15 2009, 00:13:56 UTC
Sometimes one needs to make sacrifices in order to ensure one's family doesn't put a toe out of line and embarrass themselves.

I believe that some familial supervision is necessary under these circumstances.

Ever heard of hiring a babysitter?

They are my cousins, not my children. And the vast majority of babysitters are high school students themselves.

You're talking about them like they're children.

I'm talking about them as if they are young people about to enter a potentially dangerous situation that they have never been in before. I would think looking out for one's family would be commendable.

It is nice that you want to protect them, but they can watch out for themselves. They are smart enough to stay out of trouble. You should trust them more.

But can I trust everybody else on board this cruise not to cause trouble? You know how things happen that are completely outside your control. If someone were to give Hinata trouble, she could not handle the situation. I would have to handle it for her.

She could handle it! She is not helpless.

I know her limits.
