#3 for the first and #2 for the second question. Here's an excerpt from my Ruby2/Anna fic: "At first Anna holds herself tight, not sure what Ruby is doing, but Ruby keeps stroking her hair and she incrementally relaxes until she’s got her head cradled on Ruby’s generous chest. Anna lets go of the terror she’s just experienced during her encounter at the church with Sam and Dean and that guy who was apparently a bad kind of demon. She tries not to focus on how worried she is about her parents, and just breathes in Ruby. She smells something spicy, cloves maybe, a little sweat, but nothing overpowering. Anna snuggles in closer, putting her legs over Ruby’s so she’s now pretty much in her lap. Then she slowly sneaks her own arms around Ruby and closes her eyes with a small sigh."
Excerpty, because I was in no way kidding about wereflying-squirrel Gen:
"The flying squirrel is a marvellous beast. Few mammals can claim to experience such freedom in the air, yet it has all the advantages of a land-based, warm-blooded creature, capable of using its paws, foraging for food and giving birth to live young-" "Why are you watching this?" Jared ruffled Gen's hair in passing, in the kind of way that large annoying friends sometimes do to those of more sensible height. Gen, as so often, ground her teeth in silent irritation and reminded herself of all the reasons why Jared made a half-decent landlord. (Low rent for people he liked. Prompt attention to maintenance issues. Goofy fun company when you needed it. Generous with barbecue. Prepared to rent her a pretty, clean room with direct garden access and trees immediately outside. And, yeah, also the being-a-vet thing was helpful.) She didn't bite him with her possibly rabid teeth. Not this time

6 and 5. Because, errr. I have yet to settle for an idea. Because I have one. Actually, I have two. But they're SO not teensy... /o\ Anyone got prompts for Sam/Ruby, Dean/Ruby or Ruby-centric FPF gen, please to be throwing them at me. Really. HELP. I wanna do this, but eeeep. What shall I write!?
I hope other participants see this post and flood the prompt post with Ruby prompts!
Is there a particular flavor of Ruby that you like? Would you like to write Ruby on cases? Or something more like a character study, where she takes pride in Sam's accomplishments and we how she balances her growing affection for him with her continued manipulation, and maybe she doubts a little but convinces herself she's on the right path? (I mean, if that suits your head canon). Do you like slice-of-life Ruby? Ruby in a canon AU?
