Yes! A review from this comm of my favorite book!

Just about everything you said in the seventh paragraph is exactly why I love this novel.

The second and third books were painfully slow for my own taste. I did enjoy Heir to Sevenwaters, but not as much as Daughter. (I wish the author would write a third novel for the Wildwood Dancing series.)
