Oh I agree with everything you say here. Krystal was a brat and while I didn't agree that anyone over thirty is old, I do agree with you that a teenager wouldn't have overexplained that line. The romance was random and I was ticked off that it took Krystal such a long time to decide to help Ricky. And the book's transitions were awkward. It went from one scene to a completely different one, with no explanation of what just happened.

This cover is so lovely. That's what first drew my attention as well!
