That cover is just ridiculous. I would have thought all the stories were supposed to be funny, or parodies, from the look of it. I can't believe there are serious stories in there! Otherwise, sounds like a great concept for an anthology.

You know, you're absolutely right. Working on this review, I spent a lot of time trying to decipher why my reaction to this anthology was pretty "meh," but I think part of the issue is that, like you, I was expecting more comedy from a book with this cover and title.

I loved the cover art (the silhouetted critters in the background crack me up!) and had it on my desktop for months. I'm off to get the book this weekend!

I absolutely HATE this cover. I refuse to read this book because of the cover, even though it has a Carrie Vaughn story. HORRIBLE COVER. It hurts my eyes! :-/
