we actually have a family friend who's a professional traffic analyst for the RTA...knowing traffic intimately (eg the mini peak-hour surges, the impact the schools can have on streets several blocks away) gives her a completely different conception of topography...(Billy)

Even once you drive from not being able to, your sense of what the landscpae is, how it works and what your position in it is is altered in that way...
