Oddly gilsellers still camp Empress Hairpin for some reason (don't ask me why but they do). I didn't see any at Kote or Kyahan camps though, fortunately. I never thought of leveling while camping but I like the idea. Not sure if it's of any use to anyone but I marked my map with all the places Quu Domi popped when I was camping Sarutobi Kyahan like a year ago (he seems to prefer popping in the SE corner):

People might play a job in this game for a variety of reasons, some of them might seem less noble or less meaningful to some of us, but really it falls under personal taste and preferences too, if somebody is eating strawberries out of boredom instead of because of the nutritional value or taste, it might seem like a shame and might seem like they are not really enjoying it the right way, but it's kinda their prerogative

Hey mate I recently stumbled upon your LJ from a link on KI and I have to say I'm impressed. I quit FF temporarily for a year and I'm coming back within the week. MNK was my favourite job on it by far and until i read your entries I never knew how much more there was I could do with it, I'm already planning on trying level/cap my guarding skill as one of the first things I do when I get back on. One thing I did want to ask though, what was your gear set-up in that video when you were soloing the Aw'euhvi? I want to try it out for myself, once I've gotten used to the controls and that again first though :P
Nothing too special, basically what you already can tell from the video (osode, byakko, o.hat, destroyers etc, you can see them in my gear guides), rajas and ult. rings, ethereal and brutal earrings, boxer's mantle, p.charm, fenrir's stone, and lots of gear swaps for each JA, casting, counter, evasion etc.
Ok I've got all that gear you mentioned so I'll try this out for myself. Where abouts were you camping when you fought these things? Like what pos and what level of Ru'Hmet were you in/on?
