I just found GAMERS on the Instant!Watch feature!!

*watching before the D&D game tonight*

Dave & Russ wanted to play some D&D, so Trey agreed to throw us into the adventure at the back of the 4th Ed DMG.

We created new chars:

* Dave played a Drow Warlock (marking, eldrich blast, and curse = hello. so powerful).

* I played a Warforged Paladin (thank goodness for Lay on Hands, Holy Strike, Valiant Strike, and Paladin's Judgment)!!

4th Edition PHB showed up at 1pm at my front door!

I missed last week's game (took my sister to the ER), but the DM introduced my char and 2 others quite quickly with a bar room brawl! I wasn't sure how I'd play a tiefling ranger, but so far, wearing a hooded cloak, carrying a longbow, and being evil/cautious is working quite well!!

My Dungeons and Dragons' 4th Edition Players Handbook (PHB) was shipped this afternoon!

Might get it by Saturday's game!

Well, it turns out that there isn't a $35 D&D 4th edition PHB, DMG, & MM set coming out like I was originally led to believe in May when I pre-ordered the set (that doesn't exist). Go figure.

Each BOOK is $35 which is steep (but not unexpected).

Barnes & Noble (online) has a set of books for $70+ --- but they're temporarily ( Read more... )
