I think attitude does have an unmistakeable role to play, my unbiological father was given six months at best and lived for two and a half years. His attitude was inspiring, as is yours!

Edited to add: I just realised that could be construed as suggesting you only have two and half years which was not what I was saying! The message was that a strong attitude and willingness to fight for those you love can achieve outcomes previously thought impossible!
