there's a lot of things i wanna challenge myself with - a lot of complicated and personal ones, there's also a lot of simple and shallow ones. today i'm gonna post about the latter:

i don't care what the reviews / critics say about it, i was entertained. yes, it wasn't like the old Jackie movies, but whatevs! guy's 58 and still doing stuff like he was 20-ish. notable scenes include the whole of the skate suit thing and the skydiving. :3
19 - The Kite Runner
i read the book and then watched the film. this is a perfect example of stuff from the book being left out to bring a movie together. but it doesn't really bother me that much, b/c they kept the impt parts. the movie was fast paced, and i wish i saw more of Hassan, really.
20 - A Very Special Love
i wanted to see the John Lloyd-Sarah trilogy so i picked this up. after w/c, all i can say is ASFGHJKLJKLFGFJSKL JOHN LLOYD !!! /hearteyes

22 - Iron Man 3
watched it alone on opening day, on the first screening before i went home from work. twas good. Pepper is the true winner haha.
23 - Flipped
i wanted a feel-good movie one Thursday (or was it Friday?) morning and i definitely got my fix :)
24 - It Takes a Man and a Woman
part three (final?) of the JLC-Sarah trilogy. cringe-worthy, touching, and well, predictable. heheh
25 - The Dark Knight Rises
I NEVER KNEW HOW AWESOME BATMAN WAS UNTIL THIS. ok but well, all the Batman i ever saw was the Uma Thurman-Alicia Silverstone thing and i was young then (and unimpressed) haha. THIS WAS AWESOME. i was kinda lost at some parts (b/c i haven't watched the other movies yet) but im'ma go and fix that right away. and maybe rewatch this again, hihi.
ALSO !!! Marion Cotillard OMG ILU.

only watched this out of curiosity after i caught a few minutes of it while eating lunch at the office. i almost couldn't finish this movie, idk.
27 - Finding Nemo
never gets old.
28 - Oz the Great and Powerful
James Franco is really good. Nice movie. would've looked fantastic on 3D.
29 - Schindler's List
FINALLY. i've been wanting to watch it b/c i heard about how "controversial" it was back when i was younger. man, huge thanks to the cinema gods this was put out there for anyone to see.
30 - The Dark Knight
this is the continuation of my newfound fangirling over Batman. HEATH LEDGER IS KING. also, finally understood the "why so serious?" part in this Epik High perf. :3

i got this only b/c i saw it's got a high rating on the torrent site i get my movies from. i think it's got a point, but i guess it was overshadowed by the violence and sex and idk, maybe the director's style? had to stop at 47mins the first time and finally got to finish a week later.
33 - Love Actually
where Alan Rickman really looked and felt like gay, Liam Neeson w/ son looked so adorbs, Rodrigo Santoro is super hot, Hugh Grant was, well, Hugh Grant, and Emma Thompson was, as always, brilliant Emma Thompson. i like it.
34 - Fast and Furious 6
Michelle Rodriguez is my life peg, 'nuff said.

I settled for a below-standard copy just because people are raving about it. Amy Adams was a bit annoying for me, though. I will watch it again when HD is available.
36 - Food Inc.
made sense. wasn't as explosive as I thought it would be.
37 - The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
finally gotten around watching this and I don't regret it. kept me entertained but I hated Mikael after. must read the books.
